Hello, fellow meeting@livingroom.org list-members!

We now have what I think might be considered critical mass on this
mailing list.

What I was thinking was that perhaps those of you who don't mind could
introduce yourselves to each other? And could those of you who are
artists/musicians be sure to say a little bit about what you're working
on?

I'm afraid I don't qualify in the latter category, but my name is Dan
Froomkin. I work as Editor of New Media at Education Week (visit
Education Week on the Web; http://www.edweek.org). That qualified me to
become this site's first acting Webmaster. My other qualification was
that I developed an intense appreciation for Randy over the many years
that I lived a few blocks away from him -- first in Washington, then at
Yale, then in Silverlake. I found the Livingroom Series to be a thing of
brilliance, and I'm glad to be a part of giving it new life on the
Web...
