Music that grabs the attention — not a concert to sleep through! SOLI brings back violist and friend Rita Porfiris and introduces violinist Anton Miller for this special concert. Through performing together we will show how music flows first between deeply connected musicians and then flows to the audience, drawing us all into its uplifting, musical fabric. Go with the flow, Sigfried Matthus’ Wasserspiele (“water games”), Richard Carrick’s Duo Flow, Augusta Read Thomas’ Rumi Settings, and Phillippe Hersant’s Im fremden Land (“in a foreign country”).
